As it heads into the second consecutive sold-out men’s basketball season, the College of Charleston Department of Athletics has a lot to look forward to – and look back on – this year!
“On behalf of our men’s basketball student-athletes, coaches and staff: Thank you, Cougar Nation, for your record-breaking support of our program,” says athletics director Matt Roberts. “To have 24 consecutive single-game sellouts and now back-to-back years selling out of season tickets is truly remarkable. We can’t wait for a packed TD Arena when we open our home schedule Friday, Nov. 8, vs. South Florida.”
Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams are celebrating this semester, as senior Ante Brzovic and sophomore Taryn Barbot have been named CAA Preseason Players of the Year. Barbot was also named CAA Rookie of the Year last season.
