CofC Employees Invited to Discussion of Institutional Sustainability
College of Charleston faculty and staff are invited to "Sustainability at the College: Progress, Priorities and the Next STARS Report" – an overview of the College's progress in sustainability.

College of Charleston faculty and staff are invited to “Sustainability at the College: Progress, Priorities and the Next STARS Report” – a presentation of the College’s progress and reporting – in the Tate Center, room 202, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
This session will highlight the key findings from the most recent Sustainability Tracking, Assessment, and Rating System run by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE STARS) report and provide an update on where the College currently stands in its institutional sustainability goals.
An outline of plans and priorities for the next STARS submission, due in March 2026, will also be discussed. Faculty and staff input and participation are especially valuable as the Center for Sustainable Development begins data collection for the upcoming report. This presentation will serve as a kickoff to those efforts, offering insight into how individuals and departments across campus will be asked to provide information and contribute to a more sustainable future at the College.
