Campus Services Mobile Credentials Survey

Campus Updates

Employees in units that currently use physical Cougar Cards to provide services to campus are invited to provide input through this brief survey.

Clyde's Cougar Card

Campus Services is in the planning phase of upgrading to mobile credentials on campus, and is asking for input from offices/departments that use Cougar Cards to provide services to the campus community.

Mobile credentials are a digital version of identification that, instead of living on the physical Cougar Card, are stored in users’ phones. Any scanning, tapping or identification now handled by Cougar Cards can be handled by phone. Mobile credentials are becoming the new normal on campuses, as they provide enhanced security, sustainability, convenience and efficiency. Using mobile credentials instead of a physical card will be voluntary.

If your unit uses physical Cougar Cards for any of the below (or other) purposes, please complete this brief survey by Oct. 15, 2025:

  • building access
  • employee clock-in
  • tracking event attendance
  • printing services
  • library services
  • equipment checkout
  • identity validation

The survey results will help Campus Services determine the best ways to help the campus community and will guide their next steps.

More information will be available throughout the process. In the meantime, please email Campus Services at [email protected] with any questions.
