Celebrating Student Achievements
Do you have students with noteworthy academic and/or community achievements? Using a software platform called Merit Pages, the MarComm team can spotlight student accomplishments such as academic research, conference presentations, community engagement, etc. Each achievement is highlighted in customized emails and social media posts, and is shared with each student’s hometown media outlets, state and federal elected officials and high school counselors. To learn more about Merit Pages and how to recommend students for recognition, please visit our MarComm site on The Hub.
Cooper River Bridge Run

Since the inaugural Cooper River Bridge Run took place in 1978, the College of Charleston has been involved in supporting the annual 10K race. In fact, the College was one of the founding members of the event, along with the Charleston Running Club, The Citadel and the Medical University of South Carolina. Every year, hundreds of members of the campus community and alumni participate in the event – running, walking, volunteering and cheering on participants as they make their way from Mount Pleasant to downtown Charleston.
