Charleston Crowned CAA Volleyball Champions

The Cougars volleyball team won its first CAA Championship since 2013.

Top-seeded Charleston edged No. 2 Delaware, 3-2, to win the program’s second CAA Volleyball Championship on Saturday evening at TU Arena. This marks the first CAA title since 2013 for Charleston after three runner-up finishes. 

No. 1 College of Charleston beat No. 2 Delaware in five sets (25-21, 22-25, 25-19, 17-25 and 15-3), earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Charleston will await its opponent in the First Round of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament, with the selection show slated for Sunday, Dec. 1
