The College of Charleston looks to add a CAA Tournament championship to its 2024 resumé when it opens play Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Brooks Field in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The top-seeded Cougars will take on either No. 4 Delaware or No. 6 Hofstra in their first game, depending on the outcome of Wednesday afternoon’s game between the Pride and third-seeded Northeastern. Delaware defeated No. 5 William & Mary, 7-3, in the opening contest.

A victory on Thursday will advance the Cougars in the winner’s bracket with their next game being Friday at 7 p.m. A loss will put Charleston in an elimination game Friday at 3 p.m. The championship game is Saturday at 5 p.m. or Sunday at 1 p.m. if an if-necessary game is required.

The Cougars (39-12, 21-5 CAA) head into the tournament as the regular season champion for the second time in the past three years. Charleston brings its fifth winning streak of at least five games into the postseason and has won 25 of its last 28 overall.
