Charleston Cougars Secure Outright Regular Season Title

The College of Charleston men’s basketball team captured the outright CAA regular season title with a 96-73 win over Campbell Thursday evening in TD Arena. The Cougars become the CAA’s first outright regular season champion in four years and secure the first outright championship for the program since 2003.

Charleston, now 23-7 and 14-3 in conference play, will finish the regular season against Hofstra on Saturday afternoon. Action is set for 2 p.m. in TD Arena. Bryce Butler and Frankie Policelli will be honored for Senior Day.

The Cougars will then look to the CAA Championship as the No. 1 seed.
