Charleston Voted Best College in 'Charleston City Paper' Contest
The College of Charleston was voted Best College in the "Charleston City Paper" Best of Charleston 2026 contest.
The College of Charleston was voted Best College in Charleston City Paper‘s Best of Charleston 2026 contest, marking the sixth consecutive year the College has won.
The Best of Charleston contest, the region’s largest annual reader-driven contest, celebrates local favorites across nearly 500 categories. The College was recognized in the Attractions and City Living group, highlighting its role as both an academic institution and a vibrant part of the Charleston community.
“Being named Best College is a tremendous honor because it reflects the voices of the very community we serve,” says President Andrew T. Hsu. “This recognition affirms the exceptional work of our faculty and staff, the ambition of our students and the strong partnerships we’ve built across the Lowcountry.”
Best of Charleston 2026 winners were announced and celebrated on May 13 at The Rickhouse at Cannon Distillery on James Island.
