Did you work on a project last semester? Submit it to EXPO 2026!

As the spring semester gets underway, don’t let last semester’s project fade from memory. Submit your recent work to the College of Charleston EXPO 2026 for a chance to share your work, receive feedback from peers and faculty and add a valuable accolade to your résumé/CV.

“The EXPO celebrates the intersection of innovative research and creative activities, highlighting the exceptional academic achievements and collaborative spirit of our students and faculty,” says Morgan Hughey, associate professor of public health and co-chair of the EXPO 2026 Committee. “In addition to showcasing innovative research and academic achievements, presenting at the EXPO helps students gain valuable communication skills and network across campus.”

Showcase your research, creative inquiries and community-engaged projects by submitting an abstract to EXPO 2026.

Undergraduate and graduate projects with a faculty mentor completed during summer 2025 or the 2025-26 academic year are eligible, including:

  • Research conducted in a faculty member’s lab
  • Capstone or senior thesis projects
  • Bachelor’s essays
  • Creative or scholarly projects completed for a course
  • Community service or community-based research projects completed with a faculty mentor

Submit your abstract to the submission portal by 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13. Selected students will create a poster highlighting their project, using a provided template, and all  poster printing costs are covered.

Talk with your faculty mentor, then visit The Hub to find more guidelines on your abstract and poster submissions. Additional questions can be directed to [email protected]

EXPO 2026 will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, in the School of Health Sciences.

Take this opportunity to reflect on your academic journey, share your work beyond the classroom and celebrate the ideas and inquiry that define the College of Charleston.
