This is the season to be grateful and give back – something the College of Charleston community is exceptional at!

Cougars are always giving back to the community, especially during Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week (Nov. 15–21, 2025). These scenes include the Gratitude in Action event, where 40+ students, staff and faculty assembled 100 food kits for those in the campus community affected by SNAP cuts/delays; a Pop-Up Service at Berry Hall, where residents assembled warming kits for community members experiencing homelessness; a Habitat for Humanity build day, which was sold out; the Center for Civic Engagement’s Pop-Up, where students crafted roughly 80 fleece scarves for those experiencing homelessness; and the Saturday morning shift at Lowcountry Food Bank, another sold-out event.
