The Civility Initiative hosted a discussion featuring authors, commentators and former elected officials Trey Gowdy, a former Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and Bakari Sellers, a former Democratic S.C. state legislator at its kickoff event for the school year, Finding Common Ground in a Divided World.
