Making a difference is important to our students!

National Voter Registration Day. It was a cooperative effort between the Bonner Leader Program, Honors Engaged, the student-run Cougar Votes and Let’s Be The Ones, a non-partisan community organization. Several elected officials and candidates showed up to engage with students, with many students registering to vote. A few had a good arm, too, successfully dunking Mt. Pleasant City Council member Daniel Brownstein and other dunk tank volunteers. State Rep JA Moore stopped by, as well as Charleston City Council candidate Aaron Polkey, who, if elected, would represent CofC students who live neighborhoods north of Calhoun Street.
