Update Your Address for Seamless Pharmacy Benefits

College of Charleston employees with the State Health Plan should verify their mailing addresses ahead of the transition to a new pharmacy benefit manager.

The State Health Plan will transition to a new pharmacy benefit manager, CVS Caremark, effective Jan. 1, 2026.

As the South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA) begins to send enrollee data to CVS Caremark, faculty and staff are asked to verify that their addresses are correct and up to date in the MyBenefits portal.

Verifying your contact information will help prevent disruptions in pharmacy benefits and ensure you receive communications and ID cards in a timely manner.  

What You Need to Do:

  1. Log into the MyBenefits portal.
  2. Review your current mailing address.
  3. Make any necessary updates as soon as possible.
  4. If your address is correct, no further action is needed.

PEBA has created a FAQ page regarding the pharmacy benefit manager change. This page will be updated as additional information becomes available.
