Spring in Charleston is already special, but on Saturday, May 3, 2025, the season’s most anticipated event will take it to another level. A Charleston Affair, the College of Charleston’s premier annual alumni celebration, is set to welcome thousands of graduates, faculty, staff and friends for an unforgettable night under the iconic oaks of the Cistern Yard.

Since 1900, the College of Charleston Alumni Association has hosted an annual gathering to honor new graduates and bring together alumni from near and far. What started as an local event has transformed into Spring Alumni Weekend, an epic three-day celebration from May 2-4, with A Charleston Affair as its crown jewel.
Back by popular demand, the Fantasy Band will perform on the Cistern stage, while DJ Chuck Hedrick will entertain guests in the Party at Peatsy’s VIP area, ensuring the night is filled with incredible music and nonstop dancing. Whether you’re reconnecting with old friends or making new ones, you’ll be surrounded by the energy and camaraderie that define the College of Charleston experience.

Faculty and staff from across campus have planned reunion events to welcome alumni home to the College, including the M.P.A. program, School of the Arts, Schottland Scholars, Department of Political Science, School of Business and School of Education.
