The College of Charleston has been named one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate students for the 21st consecutive year by The Princeton Review. The education services company has included the College in its annual college guide, The Best 390 Colleges: 2025 Edition.

According to The Princeton Review, the College of Charleston provides a mid-sized liberal arts experience for its 10,000 undergraduates within the vibrant city of Charleston.

One student from the College of Charleston mentioned that “professors are supportive and help students find opportunities through networking and general encouragement.”

The Princeton Review selected colleges for the book based on data collected from surveys of 2,000 college administrators about their institutions’ academic offerings. The company also reviews data from surveys of college students attending the schools. Only about 14% of America’s 2,700 four-year colleges are profiled in the publication.

Rob Franek, The Princeton Review’s editor-in-chief, praised the College of Charleston for its outstanding academics and many other impressive offerings and recommends it as an ideal choice for students looking for their “best-fit” college.
