Four College of Charleston sailors are competing in the Summer Olympics.

Former College of Charleston sailors Juan I. Maegli ’13 (Guatemala), Enrique (Quique) Arathoon ’17 (El Salvador) and Stefano Peschiera ’18 (Peru) and current assistant coach Ian Barrows (United States) will compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The sailing events begin Sunday, July 28, and conclude Thursday, August 8, 2024.

Maegli, Arathoon and Peschiera will all take part in the ILCA 7, while Barrows battles in the 49er.
