College of Charleston Thanks Public Safety Team

Campus Updates

College of Charleston President Andrew T. Hsu sent the following message to the campus community on May 13, 2024:

Dear Campus Community,

This week is National Police Week (May 12–18) and provides all of us an opportunity to honor those who gave their lives in the line of duty as well as celebrate our nation’s law enforcement members, past and present.

As you have heard or read many times in our campus messaging, safety is a top priority on our campus, and we, as an institution, are able to deliver on that promise of a safe learning environment through the hard work and professionalism of our dedicated Public Safety team.

Please join me in thanking our Department of Public Safety for their service to our university community.

Best,

Andrew
