College of Charleston sailing won their second conference title, securing the SAISA Women's Team Race Championship in Jacksonville, Florida, to qualify for nationals. 

Sailing Wins SAISA Women’s Team Race Championship

The College of Charleston sailing won their second conference title in as many weeks securing the SAISA Women’s Team Race Championship in Jacksonville, Florida, to qualify for nationals. 

The women’s team won the team race championship 8-0 to qualify for nationals. The Cougars also won the fleet race championship with Emma Tallman and Lucy Klempen taking first, and Grace Squires and Chloe Hudgins finished fifth to combine division qualifying for nationals. Charleston defeated NC State, South Florida, Jacksonville, Florida State, Rollins, Miami and Emory-Riddle for the title.

Charleston will now prepare for the Women’s Team Race Nationals beginning April 28 in Boston.
