Last month, CofC faculty and staff donated nearly 500 pounds of professional clothing, shoes and accessories for the Cougar Free Store Professional Clothing Pop-Up event on April 1. More than 250 students stopped by to build their job-ready wardrobes from the repurposed donations. A collaboration between the Center for Civic Engagement, the Center for Sustainable Development and the Career Center, the event was designed to outfit students for award ceremonies, interviews, internships and the job market.
