Charleston Advances to Second Round Round of WNIT

In their first postseason victory in a decade, the Cougars move to the second round of the WNIT, taking on Illinois State on March 24.
After cruising past USC Upstate in the first round of the WNIT, 78-60, the College of Charleston women’s basketball team has advanced to the second round of the WNIT.
This marks their first postseason victory since the 2013-14 season. The Cougars have reached 22 wins on the season, the most since 2010 and only the third time in program history with a 20+ win season.
The Cougars will travel to Normal, Illinois, for the second round of the WNIT to take on Illinois State. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
