One of the best parts about being a computer science major at the College of Charleston is taking classes at Harbor Walk, which is located right along the waterfront on the Cooper River. While there is a shuttle that runs to the main campus a mile away, many students prefer to use their own form of transportation. For sophomore Josh Smith, that means skateboarding between the two.

“I love skating,” he says. “It’s my favorite activity.”

Next to computers, that is.

“I’ve loved computer science all my life, from Lego robotics to cutting a website and games,” he says.

What a perfect world where he gets to combine the two!
